Meet Lauren

Hi, I’m Lauren - Birth-obsessed. Mum of two.

As a creative, I’m constantly inspired by the beauty in everyday nature - the texture of a fallen leaf, the colours in even the gloomiest skies. But nothing prepared me for the absolute magic of birth. From the moment my first born arrived, I was completely obsessed.

My first postpartum experience wasn’t quite how I imagined it would be - sleep deprived, feeding struggles, tongue-tie, and feeling totally out of my depth, whilst not wanting to ask for help. I had many a night googling ‘how much does a night nanny cost?’ whilst simultaneously feeling like I could never actually leave my baby with anyone. I wish I could go back and tell myself it was all going to be ok and it was totally normal to feel like this postpartum.

Meet Millie

Hi, I’m Millie - Mum to two girls and dog mum to our cockerpoo who keeps us all on our toes. When I’m not talking about birth, you’ll usually find me outside walking, soaking up fresh air and nature.

After my first birth, I became fascinated by all things pregnancy, birth and post partum - by the strength of women, by the power of the body, and by the experience itself.

Like so many new mums, feeding became a huge part of my journey, especially breastfeeding - and it wasn’t always straight forward. Those early weeks showed me just how emotional and overwhelming feeding can feel when you’re figuring it all out for the first time.
