Your place on the course is confirmed once full payment, or the first agreed instalment, has been received.

Where an instalment plan has been agreed, all instalments must be paid by the dates shown at checkout or otherwise agreed with Calm & Kin Collective.

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible by email or telephone.

We understand that pregnancy and family circumstances can change unexpectedly. If you need to cancel due to exceptional or unforeseen circumstances, please get in touch and we will always consider your individual circumstances.

Our standard cancellation policy is:

14-28 days before the course starts: 50% refund, unless we are able to fill your place.

Less than 14 days before the course starts: no refund, unless we are able to fill your place.

Any refund will be made to the original payment method where possible.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course where this is reasonably necessary, for example due to circumstances beyond our control or where a course cannot safely or reasonably go ahead.

If we need to cancel the course, we will offer you either:

• a place on an alternative course/date; or

• a full refund of the amount you have paid for the course.

If we need to change an individual session, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and, where appropriate, offer an alternative arrangement.

If you are unable to attend an individual session, we are unfortunately unable to offer a refund for that session.

If circumstances allow, we may be able to provide you with relevant course materials or information from the missed session, but this cannot be guaranteed.

The information provided during the course is evidence-based education designed to support informed decision making.

It does not replace individual medical advice, diagnosis or treatment from your midwife, obstetrician, GP or other healthcare professional.

If you have any concerns about your pregnancy, your health or your baby’s health, please speak to your healthcare provider.

We may ask you to provide information about your pregnancy, health or circumstances so that we can support you appropriately during the course.

We will handle your personal information confidentially and in accordance with applicable data protection law and our Privacy Policy.

Please only provide information that is relevant to your participation in the course.

From time to time, we may take photographs or videos during the course for promotional purposes.

Photography and video are optional. We will ask for your permission separately, and choosing not to consent will not affect your participation in the course.

The information provided during the course is intended for general educational purposes and should be considered alongside advice from your own healthcare professionals.

You remain responsible for seeking appropriate individual medical advice and for decisions relating to your own pregnancy, birth and baby.

If your baby arrives before the course has finished, your baby is very welcome to attend the remaining sessions with you, provided this is practical and appropriate for the session.

We want Calm & Kin The Birth Collective to be a safe, welcoming and inclusive space for everyone.

We ask all participants to treat each other, our facilitators and any guest professionals with kindness, consideration and respect.

We reserve the right to take appropriate action where behaviour is seriously disruptive, threatening, discriminatory or otherwise prevents others from participating safely and comfortably.

By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

You also acknowledge that Calm & Kin Collective's antenatal course is educational and is not a substitute for individual medical advice from your midwife, doctor or other healthcare professional.

You consent to Calm & Kin Collective contacting you in relation to your booking and the course.

Photography/video consent is requested separately and is optional.
