Calm & Kin community

“Every parent deserves a village, from bump to birth and beyond”

Meet your village events Derby. A place for pregnant people and new parents to connect.

Here when you need us

We know how it can feel to leave a midwife appointment with lots to take in, and a whole new list of questions popping into your head on the way home. Our WhatsApp community is there for those in between moments, whether you need a little reassurance, have something you want to ask, or simply want to talk it through.

Your Village

Stay close to the families you met on your course through our private group and relaxed meet ups. Share the highs, the wobbles and everything in between, because it’s always nicer when you know you’re not doing it alone.

A place to come back to

Join us each month for an informal free drop in. A chance to slow down, ask questions, share stories or simply have a cuppa with familiar faces. No agenda, no pressure and no judgement, just time to build friendships and connect.

Coming Soon…

People having a conversation at a restaurant with exposed brick walls, paintings, and large windows, with a casual and lively atmosphere.

We release these events every now and then, so keep your eyes peeled.

A way for parents-to-be to connect with other local parents-to-be. We love seeing these connections blossom and believe everyone should have the opportunities to grow their village in pregnancy and postpartum.

Two young women, one with long blonde hair and the other with long brown hair in a ponytail, are sitting at a rustic wooden table with a baby. The woman with blonde hair is holding the baby, who is dressed in orange and striped clothing, while the woman with brown hair is breastfeeding the baby. The scene appears warm and joyful, with a flower vase on the table.
